The 2009 N.C. Energy Code requires that a certificate be posted in the electrical distribution panel, inside the kitchen cabinet or other approved location. Contractors may use either form below to satisfy the requirements of the 2009 N.C. Energy Code.
2009 North Carolina Building Code Books are now available.
Walk-in customers can purchase books from the N.C. Department of Insurance at 322 Chapanoke Rd., Raleigh, NC 27603 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Payment options include Visa, MasterCard, personal check or money order. Go to the NCDOI Engineering and Codes Web site and print the order form PRIOR to going to the NCDOI offices.
