Alan Banks and Chris Folk of Evans Coghill Homes came home with something special from the National Association of Home Builders Custom Builder Symposium. This year the team was honored with the national Pacesetter Award in the competitive category of production excellence.
The Pacesetter Awards, co-sponsored by CUSTOM HOME and the NAHB Custom Home Builders Council, recognizes builders who not only excel in the business of custom home building, but also bring new ideas, more effective procedures, and higher standards to their businesses. Proudly, Evans Coghill Homes’ innovative approach to production and control procedures were judged to be “the best in the industry” among a record number of award entries.
“From day one, it’s been our mission to build the best home while creating the most positive homebuilding experience,” says Chris Folk. “After five years in the custom homebuilding business, we know that a solid process for disseminating information is key.”
Alan Banks adds, “Of course, the result is not only a satisfied customer, but increased profitability. In fact, we are up 66% from ’04 to ’05. It’s been a banner year for our company. Winning this award is truly the icing on the cake.”
The ceremony was held on November 12, 2005 at the Sheraton Hotel in Atlanta. In addition to the award, Pacesetter winners are featured in the November/December issue of CUSTOM HOME magazine. Evans Coghill Homes will also join an esteemed group of previous winners in the publication’s Custom Home Building Hall of Fame.
