Rusty Ammons Named HBARWC Builder Member of the Year Print E-mail

Rusty Ammons, president of RLA Development LLC, was recently named Builder Member of the Year by the Home Builders Association of Raleigh Wake County (HBARWC).

Ammons was unanimously selected by the Executive Committee of the HBA for this award based on outstanding and selfless service to the industry as it relates to governmental affairs and land planning.

“Rusty was very instrumental in working on the City of Raleigh tree ordinance, the impervious soil regulations with Wake County, and many other issues.  He considered the industry as a whole, not just for his own benefit.  His input has been invaluable,” said Mike Houseman, 2005 HBARWC president.

Ammons has been active in land acquisition and development in the Triangle area since 1997.  His current neighborhoods include Rose Hall in North Raleigh and Laurel Manor inside the beltline with several others in the planning stages.
He is a State Director of HBARWC, and a board member of North Carolina Home Builders Association (NCHBA), Triangle Community Coalition (TCC), and the North Hills Club.
