NAHB WOMEN’S COUNCIL RECOGNIZES HBA OF CHARLOTTE WOMEN’S COUNCIL FOR OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT IN LEGISLATIVE AND POLITICAL ACTION

The National Association of Home Builders’ (NAHB) Women’s Council recently recognized the HBA of Charlotte Women’s Council (NC) for achievements in an Outstanding Legislative and Political Action Program. The award was presented to the Council at the NAHB Women's Council and Leadership Awards Program Luncheon in conjunction with the 2006 International Builders Show in Orlando, Florida.

The HBA of Charlotte Women’s Council received the second-place Outstanding Legislative and Political Action Program award for the role its members played in becoming a part of the HBA Regulatory Response Team and in contacting legislators on emerging issues.

NAHB Women’s Council 2005 Chair, Lisa Forsman, congratulated the HBA of Charlotte Women’s Council on the achievement.
