NCHBA extends its congratulations to John Williams, winner of the 2009 N.C. SkillsUSA Carpentry Contest. Williams, 16, competed against 54 other carpentry students from across North Carolina to win the state title and will compete in the national competition in Kansas City, Mo. in June. 

Sherrill is a student at Wakefield High School in Raleigh under the instruction of Frank Cuda.
