The ladies of the Durham, Orange & Chatham Professional Women in Building Council have been busy recently. Here's peak at what they've been doing.

(l-r) Lori Russell, Emilee Collins, Jodi Sauerbier pose at Builder Appreciation Night.  Our PWB council had a booth set up with information about the PWB and had a Corn Hole game set up to raise money for the scholarship fund.

Mershon Moore, Jodi Saurbier, Carol Cheek, Kimberly Krohn (PWB Scholarship recipient), Roxanne Hall, Kara Hart and Emilee Collins at the HBADOC Scholarship Banquet in April, where our PWB Council raised enough money to be able to give a $1,000 scholarship.  Kimmie was this year’s recipient.  This is the 4th $1,000 scholarship our PWB Council has given over the last three years.

Sara Hagwood helps judge the models for Northern High School.  This is something we have been doing with the Durham County system for the past three years.  We help with judging for both the middle and high schools as well as arranging for guest speakers for their construction classes. Mershon Moore is our PWB Education Chair and has done a incredible job.
