NCHBECF Golf Tournament April 9 Print E-mail

The North Carolina Home Builders Association invites you to join us at the annual Builders Classic Golf Tournament.  All proceeds go to the North Carolina Home Builders Educational & Charitable Foundation Inc., a program that awards scholarships to college students majoring in a construction-related field at a two-year or four-year college.

The tournament promises to be an exciting event, with players having the opportunity to network with other industry professionals as they contribute to a worthy cause.  The 18-hole course offers large greens and rolling fairways lined with pines and strategically-placed bunkers.

Cost is $100/player or $400/team. Click here for the flyer and registration form.

Schedule of Events

Thursday Evening: A BBQ “Pig-nic” dinner starting at 5:30 p.m. April 8 will be provided by Builders Mutual Insurance Co. Pete Mace, owner of Sandhills Team & Carolina Real Estate Brokers, has kindly donated a location in Pine Barrons for dinner.  Robert Privott, NCHBA, Larry Airey, Lake Norman HBA, and Buddy Hughes, NCHBA Past President, will once again be the chefs of the evening, squaring off to see who can cook the best BBQ!  Enjoy entertainment by bluegrass band Purgatory Creek.

Friday Morning: Check-in at 8 a.m. and players will tee off at 8:30 a.m. for the shotgun start.

Friday Afternoon: An awards luncheon will follow the tournament play.  Pro Shop gift certificates will be awarded to first- and second-place teams.  Door prizes will also be presented at this time.
