Residential building code updated

The N.C. Building Code Council has adopted building code amendments with varying effective dates. The amendments pertinent to residential construction are in the Residential Construction Code Amendments PDF to include mechanical and plumbing code amendments.  All other code amendments are in the Building Codes Amendments PDF.  These PDF documents include 2010, 2011 and 2012 amendments to the various codes. The effective dates can be found at the bottom of each code section.

March Madness Bracket Challenge raises money for NC BUILD-PAC

NC BUILD-PAC is proud to bring you the 2011 March Madness NC BUILD-PAC Bracket Challenge!  This is going to be a fun and easy fundraiser for NC BUILD-PAC that should interest everyone – after all, who doesn’t like a little friendly competition?  NCHBA members get to compete against each other by selecting their favorite teams to win the 2011 NCAA Basketball Tournament.  Also, your local association will get credit toward their goal for your participation.
