The Be Pro Be Proud movement in North Carolina is gaining traction. Construction is underway on two tractor trailers that will house the mobile workshops where middle- and high-school students can gain hands-on experience with skilled professions. SPEVCO, a Winston-Salem company specializing in mobile exhibition trailers, is building the two trailers that will travel NC.

In February, the North Carolina Home Builders Educational and Charitable Foundation signed a contract with the NC Department of Labor (NCDOL) to officially mark the establishment of the Be Pro Be Proud pilot program. The program is administered by the Foundation with oversight from NCDOL.
