Several NCHBA members received recognition at NAHB’s The Nationals Awards, which held its gala during the International Builders Show in Las Vegas, NV in February. In particular, two members of the Builders Association of the Blue Ridge Mountains brought home major NAHB Honors Awards.

Sean Sullivan Named NAHB Custom Home Builder of the Year

A past president of NCHBA (2015), Sean Sullivan of Living Stone Design + Build in Asheville was named the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Custom Home Builder of the Year. Winners of this award demonstrate leadership at work and in the community, exemplify expertise in converting a client’s wish lists into a unique home, and contribute to the overall strength of the home building industry.

Judy Dinelle Honored as NAHB Associate of the Year

Judy Dinelle of 84 Lumber was honored as the NAHB Associate of the Year. This award recognizes Associate members who have distinguished themselves by their outstanding contributions to the home building industry on the local, state and national levels. In addition to Dinelle, Alma Jacobs was also a finalist for this award.
