Be Pro Be Proud NC

The Foundation proudly supports Be Pro Be Proud NC, a statewide workforce development initiative that inspires students to explore rewarding careers in the skilled trades. Through a mobile workshop experience, thousands of young people across North Carolina are introduced to opportunities in construction and related industries.

Builders Honor First Responders

The NC Home Builders Educational & Charitable Foundation, Inc. has teamed up with Raleigh-based New Home Inc and the US Veterans Corps to build a new house, with proceeds from its sale going to support the family of a fallen first responder. This effort honors the bravery and sacrifice of those who protect and serve.

Disaster Relief & Recovery

In the wake of Hurricane Helene, the Foundation mobilized to help communities across western North Carolina recover. Thanks to the generosity of members and donors, the Foundation raised significant funds to support rebuilding efforts, including a $40,000 donation to Mountain Heritage High School in Burnsville. Local carpentry students are using those funds to build tiny homes for families still displaced by the storm — a powerful example of builders helping communities heal.
