Donation Powers Student-Built Homes for Hurricane Relief
The NC Home Builders Charitable Foundation is proud to support the next generation of builders and help western NC communities still recovering from Hurricane Helene.
Thanks to generous contributions to our Hurricane Helene Disaster Relief Fund, the Foundation has donated $40,000 to Mountain Heritage High School in Burnsville.
Under the leadership of carpentry instructor Jeremy Dotts – NCHBA’s 2023 NCHBA Construction Trades Teacher of the Year – students will put their skills to work building tiny homes. These homes will go directly to families and communities impacted by the storm.
