NCHBA’s Tim Minton Selected for Key Safety and Workforce Boards
Minton Will Help Shape Worker Safety and Workforce Initiatives

Tim Minton, NCHBA Executive Vice President, has been appointed to two important leadership roles. Commissioner of Labor Luke Farley named him to the Heat Stress Advisory Council, a group tasked with reviewing existing laws, evaluating regulations, and recommending improvements to protect workers from heat-related injuries and unsafe conditions in North Carolina.
Tim was also appointed to the national Be Pro Be Proud Board of Directors, a workforce development initiative connecting students, parents, educators, and industry leaders to high-demand skilled trades. In North Carolina, the Be Pro Be Proud program is operated by the NC Home Builders Educational & Charitable Foundation, Inc.
In addition to these new appointments, Tim continues to serve as Treasurer of the Job-Site Safety Institute.
